So, trek jou dansskoene aan en kom hang uit in jou blinkste vere. 2026 kykNET Silwerskerm Awards for Film and TV @CTICC The kykNET Silwerskerm Awards for Film and TV will take place on the evening of 22 August at the CTICC in Cape Town. It will be broadcast the following evening on kykNET (DStv channel 144).At this glamorous gala event, the best feature films showcased at the 14th kykNET Silwerskerm Festival in Camps Bay will be honoured, as well as the actors, presenters and personalities who provided exceptional entertainment on the kykNET channels between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026.And yes, you can also purchase tickets to attend this stylish evening as well as the after party. Important to knowThe rugby test will be screened at the venue just before the awards kick off. Feel free to arrive at 17:00 when the rugby will start.Guests will take their seats by 19:00, and the awards ceremony will start strictly at 19:30.Food and drinks are not allowed inside the theatre. Please plan your evening accordingly and grab something to eat beforehand.The ceremony starts at 19:30 and will end by 22:00. There will be no intermission.Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at the cash bar beforehand.After the awards, food will be served and the cash bar will open.The party kicks off in one of the venues next to the auditorium and goes on until late.
